Handmade journal sewn in the coptic style with blue waxed linen thread, which is durable and strong. The pages are my high quality recycled vegan watercolor handmade paper, which is made in house in Ashland, Wisconsin from recycled materials. The coptic binding of this journal allows the book to lay completely flat when open, creating its own flat surface for use away from a desk.
The cover was made from a cedar and finished with mineral oil to make the grain really stand out. The front and back covers are cut from the same piece of wood and aligned so the grain runs through from front to back.
These covers are durable and can be reused once you’ve gone through all the pages. Just message me and we can arrange shipment back and I can bind in new pages for a reduced price.
