This journal is made from brown leather, handmade recycled paper, and waxed linen thread. The brass buckle was salvaged from a horse halter that had been dried out beyond repair.

The pages are green handmade paper made from recycled office, notebook, and art papers with flower petals scattered throughout. It was bound in the longstitch style using natural waxed linen thread, which allows the book to lay completely flat when open. The longstitch binding makes it a great book to write or sketch in while you're away from a desk.
