This listing is for 10 envelopes available in multiple sizes, made from eco friendly, recycled, handmade paper. To order more than 10, just select multiple quantities upon checkout. For orders of more than 40 sheets, please allow 1-4 weeks for processing (1 week for 60 sheets, 4 weeks for 100 sheets).

WHEN MAILING ENVELOPES:

Mailing these envelopes is not as simple as mailing commercially made envelopes, simply because the paper is softer and the abrasive post office sorting machines can erase the mailing address, making them illegible and unable to continue through the system. So what I recommend is writing the address on a commercially made label, making sure it is good and stuck to the envelope, and asking your postal clerk to hand cancel the envelope. Ask the clerk at your local post office how to hand cancel the envelopes.

Paper acidity:
The white, white thread, and off white floral papers are made from 100% office, notebook, and printer papers. These varieties test as acid free when using a Lineco pH Testing pen.

The brown, brown floral, and 1/8 brown 7/8 white varieties are recycled from cardboard, chipboard, and brown papers, and are not acid free

Each sheet is inspected individually at several stages to insure there are no holes, weak spots, wrinkles, or other flaws.

The flower petals and thread present in the brown floral, off white floral, and white with thread paper will vary from those pictured, as each batch is unique. If you have specific color needs, please convo me before purchase.

Making paper is a meditative process for me. There's something very relaxing to the simple, repetitive process. The end result of having a crisp, clean sheet of paper brings to mind endless possibilities. Anything that may have been upsetting or stressful before just melts away after I open up a whole world of opportunities with that one simple sheet of paper.

This paper CAN go through inkjet printers.

If you intend to put these envelopes through the mail system, I recommend using a felt tip or Sharpie variety pen, as opposed to a ball point or gel pen, as the ink from gel or ball point pen does not soak in as well and can be rubbed off the paper as it gets abraded during the mailing process.

Each sheet and envelope is approximately 4 inches (10.16 cm) by 5 inches (12.7 cm).

Your order will be packaged in biodegradable and upcycled materials, including cardboard, newsprints, and biodegradable PLA film bags made from plant fibers.
